ITINERARY
Day 1: Buenos Aires

Arrival, reception and transfer to your hotel. We recommend the 4 star De Las Americas or the 5 star Marriott Plaza.

Day 2: Buenos Aires (Breakfast)

After breakfast, a city tour of perhaps the most cosmopolitan metropolis in South America. The tour will include a visit to the Plaza de Mayo and the Casa Rosada presidential palace with the famous balcony from which Juan and Evita Peron greeted the masses.

Day 3: Buenos Aires - Estancia (Breakfast & lunch)

Full day Fiesta Gaucha excursion, visiting a typical "estancia" in the pampas. A delicious lunch will be served where you will be able to appreciate the ranching work of the true South American cowboy, the gaucho. Return to your hotel.

Day 4: Buenos Aires - El Calafate (Breakfast)

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to El Calafate. Arrival and transfer to your hotel. We recommend the 4 star Kosten Aike or the 5 star Posada Alamos. Free day.

Day 5: Perito Moreno Glacier (Breakfast)

After breakfast, visit the incredible Perito Moreno Glacier, one of the most dramatic natural sites left on earth. The Perito Moreno Glacier of Santa Cruz is a 60m (197ft) high river of rising, toppling and exploding ice, though it hasn't advanced for several years. Opportunity to visit the glacier closely and enjoy a boat ride close to the glacier. Return to your hotel.

Day 6: El Calafate - Iguazu (Breakfast)

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Puerto Iguazu. Transfer to your hotel. We recommend the 4 star Esturion Hotel or the 5 star Sheraton. A visit to the fabulous UNESCO World Heritage Iguazu falls, the most voluminous falls in the world and more than three times the width of the Niagara Falls. The Argentinean side of Iguazú allows for a close appreciation. Set in a subtropical rain forest reserve of over 180,000 hectares, Iguazú is home to jaguar, puma, caiman and over 400 species of bird. This tour includes "The Great Adventure", an exhilarating boat ride on the Iguazu River, heading towards the falls themselves.

Day 7: Iguazu Falls - Brazilian side (Breakfast)

Cross the border into Brazil for a half day excursion to appreciate a wider view of the falls. Return to your hotel in Argentina. (Please note that all US citizens require a Brazilian visa for this excursion).

Day 8: Iguazu - Buenos Aires (Breakfast)

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for the return flight to Buenos Aires and your connecting flight home.
