Day 2: Buenos Aires (Breakfast & dinner)After breakfast, a city tour of perhaps the most cosmopolitan metropolis in South America. The tour will include a visit to the Plaza de Mayo and the Casa Rosada presidential palace with the famous balcony from which Juan and Evita Peron greeted the masses. After lunch, a visit to La Esquina Carlos Gardel, the foremost tango house in Buenos Aires.
Day 3: Buenos Aires - Estancia (Breakfast & lunch)Full day Fiesta Gaucha excursion, visiting a typical "estancia" in the pampas. A delicious lunch will be served where you will be able to appreciate the ranching work of the true South American cowboy, the gaucho. Return to your hotel.
Day 4: Buenos Aires - El Calafate (Breakfast)After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to El Calafate. Arrival and transfer to your hotel. We recommend Kosten Aike Hotel.
El Calafate is the site of the incredible Perito Moreno Glacier, one of the most dramatic natural sites left on earth. The Perito Moreno Glacier of Santa Cruz is a 60m (197ft) high river of rising, toppling and exploding ice, though it hasn't advanced for several years.
After breakfast, opportunity to visit the glacier closely and enjoy a boat ride close to the glacier.
Return to your hotel.
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Bariloche. Arrival to Bariloche and transfer to your hotel. We recommend La Cascada.
Day 7: Bariloche (Breakfast)After breakfast, we shall take the cable car up Cerro Campanario before enjoying a visit to Victoria Island and walking through the Los Arrayanes National Park. Return to your hotel.
Day 8: Bariloche - Salta (Breakfast)After breakfast, transfer to the airport for the flight to Salta. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel.

Tour of Salta, a charming colonial city with many historic and artistic treasures, and a picturesque old-fashioned atmosphere. There is an interesting combination of relics from the Spanish colonial period and the traditions of the indigenous people which are very much alive today.
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day tour to Cafayate, passing through many old towns to find yourselves in the impressive Las Conchas Gorge, more than 80 kilometers of magnificent colourful mountains. After lunch, we will return to Salta.
Day 10: Quebrada de Humahuaca (Breakfast & lunch)After breakfast, enjoy the drive to Jujuy, where we will see a beautiful gilded pulpit, a masterpiece of art from the colonial period. We will then visit the famous and picturesque Quebrada de Humahuaca, where we can take pleasure in the breathtaking beauty of this region. We will stop at various villages along the way, including Purmamarca, Uquia and Humahuaca, and walk through their quaint streets and native markets. We will return by the ancient town of Tilcara, where we can see various pre-Inca ruins. Lunch included.
Day 11. Salta - Iguazu (Breakfast)After breakfast, transfer to the airport for the flight to Puerto Iguazu. Transfer to your hotel. We recommend the Boutique Hotel de la Fonte.
A visit to the fabulous UNESCO World Heritage Iguazu falls, the most voluminous falls in the world and more than three times the width of the Niagara Falls. The Argentinean side of Iguazú allows for a close appreciation. Set in a subtropical rain forest reserve of over 180,000 hectares, Iguazú is home to jaguar, puma, caiman and over 400 species of bird. This tour includes "The Great Adventure", an exhilarating boat ride on the Iguazu river, heading towards the falls themselves.
Cross the border into Brazil for a half day excursion to appreciate a wider view of the falls. Return to your hotel in Argentina. (Please note that all US citizens require a Brazilian visa for this excursion).
Day 13: Iguazu - Buenos Aires (Breakfast)After breakfast, transfer to the airport for the return flight to Buenos Aires and your connecting flight home.
