After breakfast, a full day private tour to the Jesuit Missions along Jesus Maria, Caroya and Santa Catalina. These estancias were founded in 1615 by the Jesuit order which had to be abandened in 1767 following the decree by King Charles III of Spain that expelled them from the continent. The missions were then run by the Franciscans until 1853 when the Jesuits returned to the Americas. Each estancia has its own church and set of buildings and you will have a walk through their facilities, their museums, and churches located on the side of the Old Royal Road to Upper Peru.

After breakfast, enjoy a full day visit to the fabulous UNESCO World Heritage Iguazu falls, the most voluminous falls in the world and more than three times the width of the Niagara Falls. The Punta Walichu archaeological site is visited where the cave paintings made by natives are interpreted on the walls of caves. We finish the tour in one of the caves before returning to your hotel.
