ITINERARY
Day 1. BUENOS AIRES

Arrival, reception and transfer to your hotel, the BE Jardin Escondido.

Day 2. BUENOS AIRES (Breakfast and dinner)

After breakfast, enjoy a private city tour with your knowledgeable guide who is also a local of the city. Buenos Aires is perhaps the most cosmopolitan metropolis in South America. Most of the population is of European descent and the city is reminiscent of Paris. It is situated on the Rio de la Plata, and as its name suggests, it is the city of good winds. The tour will include a visit to the Plaza de Mayo, the hub of the city centre and where many public buildings such as the Catedral Metropolitana can be found. At the east end, you will find the Casa Rosada presidential palace with the famous balcony from which Juan and Evita Peron greeted the masses. A visit to The Brighton, a bar and café notable, is one of the most stunningly situated restaurants in Buenos Aires for afternoon tea. Return to your hotel.
In the evening, enjoy a splendid dinner & tango Show at the La Esquina Carlos Gardel, the foremost tango house in Buenos Aires. Seating will be in the VIP Sector with all beverages included.

Day 3. BUENOS AIRES (Breakfast)

Day 5. BUENOS AIRES - CORDOBA (Breakfast)

After breakfast, a private road drive to Cordoba. You will visit several sites along the route which you will be able to discuss with your private guide. Arrival and transfer to your hotel, the Azul Real.

Day 6. CORDOBA (Breakfast)

After breakfast, a full day private tour to the Jesuit Missions along Jesus Maria, Caroya and Santa Catalina. These estancias were founded in 1615 by the Jesuit order which had to be abandened in 1767 following the decree by King Charles III of Spain that expelled them from the continent. The missions were then run by the Franciscans until 1853 when the Jesuits returned to the Americas. Each estancia has its own church and set of buildings and you will have a walk through their facilities, their museums, and churches located on the side of the Old Royal Road to Upper Peru.

At each stop, you'll be given the opportunity to explore the grounds and discover the colonial history of Argentina.

Day 7. CORDOBA (Breakfast)

Today you can choose to have as a free day, choose a wine tour, choose a visit to the countryside , or sample the gaucho way of life. *Please ask for prices and details if interested in one of the tours.

Day 8. CORDOBA - MENDOZA WINE REGION (Breakfast)

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for the direct flight to Mendoza, the capital of the wine region of Argentina. Arrival and private transfer to the Mendoza hotel.

Day 9. MENDOZA WINE REGION (Breakfast)

Wine tasting day to several notable vineyards.

Day 12. MENDOZA - IGUAZU (Breakfast)

Transfer to the airport for the flight to Iguazu via Buenos Aires. Transfer to your hotel, the Melia Iguazu Hotel. Accommodation in a suite. Free evening.

Day 13. IGUAZU FALLS (Breakfast)

After breakfast, enjoy a full day visit to the fabulous UNESCO World Heritage Iguazu falls, the most voluminous falls in the world and more than three times the width of the Niagara Falls. The Argentinean side of Iguazu allows for a close appreciation. Set in a subtropical rain forest reserve of over 180,000 hectares, Iguazu is home to jaguar, puma, caiman and over 400 species of bird. The tour will include the Aventura ride, an exhilarating boat ride on the Parana River, heading towards the Iguazu falls themselves. Return to your hotel.

Day 14. IGUAZU FALLS - HELICOPTER TOUR (Breakfast)

Today you will enjoy a helicopter flight over the Iguazu Falls. Return to your hotel for a free afternoon to explore the local surroundings.

Day 15. IGUAZU FALLS - EL CALAFATE PATAGONIA (Breakfast & dinner)

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for the flight to El Calafate, located in Patagonia. Arrival and transfer to your 5 star lodge, the Xelena Deluxe Suites Hotel, overlooking the Perito Moreno Glacier.

Day 16. EL CALAFATE PATAGONIA (All meals)

After breakfast, enjoy a visit to the Perito Moreno Glacier a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 17. EL CALAFATE PATAGONIA (All meals)

Enjoy a visit to Upsala Glacier by boat.

Day 18. EL CALAFATE PATAGONIA (All meals)

After breakfast, pick up from your hotel for a 4x4 tour around the coast of Lake Argentino, surrounded by nature and history. The ascent to Punta Bonita cliff allows for an excellent panoramic view. The Punta Walichu archaeological site is visited where the cave paintings made by natives are interpreted on the walls of caves. We finish the tour in one of the caves before returning to your hotel.

Day 19. EL CALAFATE PATAGONIA - BUENOS AIRES (Breakfast)

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your return flight to Buenos Aires and transfer to your hotel, the BE Jardin Escondido. Free day.

Day 20. BUENOS AIRES (Breakfast)

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your international flight home.
